How does stolen vehicle tracking work?

If your vehicle is stolen anywhere in the UK, a signal is sent from the vehicle to a Control Centre and new signals are sent at regular intervals so the Control Centre always knows where your vehicle is heading.

The tracker system sends GPS information that is received by the Control Centre, supplying the vehicle’s exact position.

The police are contacted in the area that the vehicle is located and given updated information so they can find your vehicle.

Your car is then returned to you as soon as possible.
